New York Guard Is Staying Close To Home

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a story on Nick Walsh who will stay close to home ...

Nick Walsh, an underrated guard from All Hallows High School in the Bronx, New York, will play college basketball at Manhattan College, according to Nick's dad.

Mr. Walsh, who spent the last three days helping coach the All Hallows High School basketball team at the Super Hoop Jam Fest at Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York, told us yesterday that his son will compete for Manhattan.

Walsh, 5-foot-8, was a spunky guard with some nice skills. He had the ability to shoot the jumper and score points.

Nick also competed for the Long Island Lightning AAU team and played in many major events with his dad coaching him.

Walsh is a member of the 2007 class and will be eligible to play this Fall for Manhattan College.
