Brooklyn Guard Will Play JUCO Ball In Florida

Reporter Mike Sullivan has story on Devon Peterson of Lincoln High School ...

Devon Peterson, a solid 2007 prospect from Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, New York, is likely to play some juco ball before playing division one college basketball, according to sources.

Peterson, 6-foot-2 1/2 and 175 pounds, played for Dwayne "Tiny" Morton. Peterson was supposed to join Canarsie standout Nathaniel Lester next season as a freshman at Hofstra University on Long Island.

PETERSON'S STRENGTHS AS AN INDIVIDUAL PLAYER: Devon can also get to the basket with his drive too. He has no fear in taking the ball against the bigger bodies in the paint. So, in conclusion, his offensive game has really rounded out and is now balanced.

*Sources indicate that Devon will be playing some juco ball at Broward in Florida.
