Holy Cross Star Taking Unofficial Visit

Reporter Mike Sullivan has story on Sylven Landesberg's recruiting process ...

With the Mobile Elite 24 All Star game a distant memory, Sylven Landesberg has restarted his recruiting trips. Landesberg, a 6-foot-4 scoring swingman from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York, is currently on an unofficial visit to Virginia, according to sources.

The trip to Charlottesville is likely to restart his recruiting process and elevate the intensity of wooing the Knights' star player.

Sylven had previously expressed interest in Texas, a school he has already visited. Landesberg is also visiting Georgia Tech for the weekend of September 15th. Sylven has stated he wants to visit St. John's and Kentucky too before making a decision.

The trip to Virginia is an unofficial one since school has not begun in the New York City area. Holy Cross begins school after Labor Day.

Landesberg, who possesses the ability to rock defenders for points from all over the court, is considered among the best rising seniors in the 2008 class.

Landesberg has refused to name a leader too. It's likely a permanent one will be crowned in about three to four weeks.
