New York Guard Taking Official Visit

Reporter Brian Towey has the story on Tony Taylor of Archbishop Stepinac ...

Tony Taylor, a 5-foot-9 scoring point guard from Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, N.Y., is currently in Baltimore on an official visit to Loyola, according to J.R. Hargreaves, one of Taylor's coaches with the Connecticut Basketball Club.

Taylor has picked up interest from Manhattan, Boston University, Stony Brook, and Quinnipiac, among others.

A dodgy lead guard with strong scoring instincts, Taylor can create his own shot and boasts a credible mid-range game.

Taylor paired with Louisville commit Melquan Bolding last season at Stepinac for coach Tim Philp.
