Team Odom PG Has Area Schools Interested

Frank Mantesta gives us his individual thoughts on Ryan Davis' game ...

Ryan Davis, a 5-foot-8, 155-pound point guard from American Christian in Aston, Pennsylvania, has some of the area schools recruiting him this season.

Davis, a post-graduate, has been playing for Team Odom in the Fall IS8 League. We had a chance to watch him over the past week. He stated to us that Binghamton, Quinnipiac, St. Francis, Long Island University and Stony Brook are some of the schools he is interested in hearing from over the next couple of months.

Below are some thoughts about Ryan's individual game:

STRENGTHS: He is a good three-point shooter. Ryan is a solid floor leader and possesses a point guard mentality.

WEAKNESS: Well, it's really not a weakness. But size is something given to you from upstairs.

EVALUATION: Ryan is a proto_typical point guard. He looks to get teammates involved. Davis also give them the ball in the right places.

Ryan can also fill it up from three point line. He is a a coach on the floor. When you hear about his size, you become concerned. When you watch him play, you lose that concern.

Davis will not back down. He is a terrific player.
