The first quarter ended at 16-16. Connecticut grabbed a two-point advantage to start the third quarter at 30-28. However, Starrett City regained the lead at 48-46 to start the fourth quarter.
Prescott wasn't the only member of the CBC that made a significant contribution to the playoff win. B.J. Montaro scored 14 and Stan Dulaire added 12 points in the victory.
For Starrett City, James Padgett scored 15 points while Lyloyd Antione added 14 points. Guard Devon Davis pitched in with 12 points for the very competitive Starrett City team.
But, in today's playoff game, the valuable perimeter game of Prescott was important in helping the Connecticut Basketball Club forge a victory.
