Local Forward Has Solid IS8 Fall League

Reporter Mike Sullivan has story on a player from the state of Connecticut ...

The IS8 Fall League has ended. The Shooting Stars are the champions but there were several players who impressed us along the way. Among them: Stanford Dulaire, a 6-foot-5, 190-pound power forward/small forward from the Connecticut Basketball Club. Dulaire also competes for the Watkinson School in Hartford, Connecticut.

Dulaire has already given a verbal commitment to Sacred Heart. He should be an impact player at Sacred Heart after making a commitment to the school on August 28th (reported by Brian Towey here on this site).

Dulaire, who also received interest from James Madison, expressed during the IS8 Fall League that he was excited about a chance to play right away at Sacred Heart. "I just have to work hard to earn the time," he said.

Dulaire seems to do that on both ends of the court. He has the ability to finish in transition and beat the bigger bodies down the floor for layups. Stan also possesses a solid frame that helps him around the rim to score.

The Connecticut Basketball Club was very impressive in the IS8 Fall League (coached by J.R. Hargreaves and Pat Sullivan). And Dulaire was one of the many reasons why the Connecticut Basketball Club went deep into the IS8 playoffs. Dulaire should have a great career at Sacred Heart.
