Brooklyn Forward Key For Bishop Ford

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a story on a Brooklyn big man ...

Bishop Ford High School has been one of the better basketball programs recently. And it shouldn't be a surprise that the 2007-2008 edition should be just as competitive this season.

A player to watch is Jermaine Braumuller, a 6-foot-9, 245-pound center/power forward. Coach John Infortunio should have ample opportunities to take advantage of Braumuller's size around the rim.

Jermaine is likely to get some division one looks throughout the season. Reporters Mike Sullivan and Brian Towey have watched Jermaine play over the past year. Here are some thoughts on Braumuller's individual game:

Jermaine has the size and strength to be an impact player for the Bishop Ford basketball program. He seems to be agaile enough to dip past defenders who aren't as skilled in defending a quick low post move.

Conistency is always a key for a developing player. If Jermaine becomes a consistent threat around the basket, it will help open up areas on the perimeter for the Bishop Ford guards.
