HOW JAMES PADGETT IMPROVED GAME OVER SUMMER: James showed more consistency in the low post. He exhibited more confidence in receiving entry passes and making nifty moves near the rim.
CONCLUSION: Padgett is a player who has the ability and skills to be a mid to high major division one college player. He made strides at Xaverian and is also playing for another highly regarded head coach in Tiny Morton. So Padgett will be tested competitively again this season. He is likely to get better too as shown by his improvements this past summer. James is a player that has great upside to his game. As he matures and adds strength to the top of his frame, he should be more consistent in scoring around the basket.
