"He's averaging around 33 points a game," Jaklitsch said.
This isn't surprising. Suero, a member of the 2008 class, is a talented scoring guard that has a knack of producing a lot of points from different areas on the court.
Many scouts and coaches did not have a chance to watch Suero play during the summer too much since he went back for some vacation time to be with his family in the Dominican Republic.
But Gerardo is among the best players in the New York City area because of his ability to produce points. He has a soft shot that he can float over bigger bodies inside the paint.
Jaklitsch said Suero is open in his recruiting process. He has previously mentioned interest by St. John's, Syracuse, and Pittsburgh but it's likely his recruiting process won't be known until he moves progessively through this season.
