Upstate Prospect Worth Watching This Year

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a story on Davon Marshall ...

Niagara Falls High School has had some terrific division one talent in its basketball program over the past decade. So it's no surprise that its roster features some quality players and some good young talent too.

Davon Marshall, a 5-foot-10 combo guard, is only a sophomore, a member of the 2010 class. So he has plenty of time to progress in his individual game.

According to the coaching staff at Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York, Marshall has already seen quality playing time this season in the first two games.

The University of Buffalo is already expressing interest in his skill level. Marshall, who is considered a zone buster, is looking to make himself more well rounded as an offensive player.

As he matures and shows the ability to take his dribble past defenders to the basket, it will make his perimeter game even more effective.
