Upstate 2010 Prospect Is Highly Regarded

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a free story on Will Regan ...

It's certainly early in the recruiting process for talented prospect Will Regan, a 6-foot-8, 213-pound forward from Nichols High School in Buffalo, New York.

But judging from the many positive statements from such highly regarded basketball people such as Albany City Rocks program director Jim Hart and others we have spoken to recently, Regan is going to be a solid recruit.

Yes, Will is just a sophomore and has three full seasons before he is ready to play college basketball. But the recent reviews on his game have been encouraging and exciting.

The reporters on this website have watched him a few times on the AAU circuit. But coaching staffs from other high school basketball programs have spoken to us and mention Regan as a player that will be among the best in his class.

Hart has already stated, Virginia, Michigan, Marquette, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, St. John's, Ohio State, Stanford, West Virginia, Arizona, and Seton Hall have been expressing early interest.

Regan rebounds and scores and possesses size. And, as Hart says, he is only going to get better as he adds more muscle and gains experience.

There isn't a leader in his recruiting process. But, Hart said, he has been impressed with the early interest.
