STRENGTHS IN BRANDON ROMAIN'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: Brandon is off to a terrific start in the PSAL. He is in the top five in rebounds and assists, demonstrating how much he gets out of his size and frame.
Romain is a solid player who utilizes his aggressiveness and fearlessness to outbattle bigger bodies around the rim. He never gives up on a loose ball and scores many of his points with second and third efforts.
A lefty, his defenders sometimes have trouble staying in front of him on his drives to the basket. Once he beats you with is first step, Romain is skilled enough to either score or find an open teammate.
The long arms help him on both ends too, defensively and picking up rebounds and deflecting entry passes in the paint.
COLLEGE INTERESTS: Brandon has an unofficial visit scheduled for Sunday, January 13th at the University Of Rhode Island, according to Brandon's family.
The following week Brandon will take a trip to St. Bonaventure. Some of the new schools that have made recent contact -- University of Maryland, Arizona State, and Alabama. It's too early to judge the level of interest by these schools in Brandon.
Other schools being considered: Quinnipiac, St. Francis, Buffalo, Penn State, and Duquesne.
