Both parties feel that Shimmek has the ability to be an impact player in the Northeast Conference.

He has a good post game but can also step out and shoot the ball from 17 feet out. He is a excellent finisher and is suited by the style that Central Connecticut plays.

Carmen Maciariello of Albany City Rocks said he felt this kid was a steal for Central Connecticut State. We also agree seeing him in the summer we came away impressed and feel that this will be a great fit for both player and program.

*The coaching staff at Central Connecticut State has always done a terrific job in taking some raw talent and developing the prospects properly. This young man has some skills so he should thrive at Central Connecticut State.
