HIGH SCHOOL: According to the New York Daily News, Ashton Pankey has left Archbishop Molloy High School in Briarwood, New York. Reporter Frank Mantesta said Pankey is considering a transfer to St. Anthony's High School in Jersey City, New Jersey

POSITION: Center/Power Forward

EARLY SCHOOLS OF INTEREST: St. John's, Syracuse, Rutgers, St. Francis of New York, Florida, Stony Brook, Hofstra, Penn State, and Connecticut

PREVIOUS EVALUATION OF ASHTON PANKEY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: Pankey was expected to be a big part of the Molloy basketball program next season after making significant progress in his individual game.

However, an incident at school has changed his school address.

Pankey has tremendous upside to his game. He has long arms that enable him to tip balls to himself and grab rebounds against bigger players. He also displays agility near the rim and is a player that eventually will be a high division one college basketball player.
