Highly Regarded HS Guard Ready For College

Reporter Mike Sullivan has an update on former Albany City Rocks guard Tiki Mayben ...

Former highly regarded point guard Emmanuel Mayben a 6-foot-1, 180-pounder from upstate New York, is looking forward to competing for Binghamton and should thrive there, according to Jim Hart.

Hart is the program director for the Albany City Rocks, an AAU program that was the home for Mayben for many years.

"Tiki" Mayben, who made his name at Troy High School in Troy, N.Y., had initially committed to Syracuse University out of college. However, due to not qualifying, he then committed to Massachusetts. Then his situation changed again when he ended up on the JUCO level.

Mayben had a solid season for Hudson Valley Community College in New York. "He had a tremendous year," said Hart. "He showed he could do everything on the court from that position."
