WEIGHT: 185 pounds

HIGH SCHOOL: Rice High School in New York, New York

STRENGHTS: A good shooter. Has three-point range as well as a mid-range game. Can handle ball.

WEAKNESS: Needs to add muscle so he can be a better rebounder and score in traffic.

EVALUATION: Dorvell is a long, lanky player. He does need to add muscle. However, he is slithery under the basket and this enables him to score down low.

New head coach Chuck Martin of Marist is working hard on the Rice player and Dorvell knows of coach Martin's background.

But Dorvell told us Stony Brook has been on him for awhile so he feels that they are still the slight leader but he is open.

He also had nice things to say about Coach Brian Nash at St Francis.
