Long Island Sophomore Has Several Offers

Reporter Mike Sullivan has the update on Tobias Harris ...

Tobias Harris, a 6-foot-7 sophomore forward from Half Hollows Hills West High School on Long Island, New York, has several offers, according to his father Torrel. Mr. Harris stated his son now has offers from "Rutgers, UConn, Arizona, Maryland, Indiana, Marquette, and Baylor." Tobias is still open in his recruiting process and it's early since Harris is just finishing up his sophomore season academically.

Baylor, Marquette, Ohio State, Virginia, and Wake Forest had recently gotten involved in the recruiting process, according to Torrel, who also coaches the Unique All Stars AAU team.

Harris is one of the best prospects in the 2010 class. For a player his size he has terrific skills. He has the ability to score from anywhere on the court.

He also has interest in Georgia Tech, St. John's, Miami, Hofstra, Syracuse, Louisville, St. Joe's, Southern Cal, Fordham, Stanford, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Delaware, Davidson, Iowa, North Carolina State, and George Mason.
