Local Forward Finishes Up At IS8 In Style

Reporter Mike Sullivan profiles the game of Stanford Dulaire ...

The Connecticut Basketball Club has always been a tough team to compete against in the IS8 Fall and Spring Leagues. So it wasn't a surprise that CBC landed a spot in this past weekend's quarterifinal round against the New York Elite.

Unfortunately for CBC, they ran into a dynamic forward by the name of Tristan Thompson, who has given a commiment to Texas. But CBC had a talented team too. It featured Stanford Dulaire, a 6-foot-5 forward who always showed us a nice balanced game.

Dulaire has already given a commitment to Sacred Heart. In his last game at IS8 as a high school player, Dulaire registered 19 points, including a three-pointer.

Dulaire scores most of his points inside but has shown the ability to knock down the jumper when given the opportunity. He is well built and can play with the big bodies around the paint.

BRIAN TOWEY'S EVALUATION REPORT: A well-muscled forward with bounce and good foot speed, Dulaire can really get out in the open floor and run. Sacred Heart's up-tempo style of play was one of the things that appealed to him about the program.
