LI Rising Junior Making Most Of Summer

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a detailed story about the months ahead for Tobias Harris ...

There are several offers on the table for Tobias Harris, a 6-foot-6 sophomore (rising junior) forward from Half Hollow Hills West on Long Island, N.Y. But this isn't stopping Tobias from trying to progress in his individual game.

While his father, Torrel, spoke to UNC head coach Roy Williams the other night about his son, Tobias is gearing up for a busy summer. Currently, he is on the campus of Kansas, attending the elite camp there.

Harris will take a trip to Virginia and attend their elite camp on June 15th-16th.

Then it's off to Indiana (June 19th) and then an unofficial visit to Louisville on June 22nd.

An unofficial visit to Marquette (June 24th-25th), Fred Hill's camp at Rutgers on June 27th-28th, and Maryland's camp on June 30th-July 1st, round out the month. Then the busy month of the July evaluation period will likely determine the steepness of the offers that come his way.

National recruiting expert Dave Telep considers Harris a high major talent too, citing he has a decent touch.

Tobias recently played some pickup ball at St. John's University, a school that is also involved in his recruiting process.
