Roberson scored 28 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to help the Louisiana Select win a pool game, 76-68, in overtime. Roberson was the most active player on the court at both ends of the floor too. He produced six blocks as well.
His team trailed 42-35 at the half. Roberson had produced half his points in the first 16 minutes of play, a game played at the Rumble in the Bronx on the campus of Fordham University. This particular pool game was held in the Lombardi Center (downstairs from the main gym, Rose Hill gym).
Without the benefit of air conditioning on a day when temperatures zoomed past 80 degrees, Roberson's energy level was robust.
As reported by the Texas A&M website and Dave Telep on the national hoops site, Roberson has committed to Texas A&M.
This is a terrific pickup for Texas A&M as Roberson demonstrated the ability to jet up and down the court, score around the basket, and block shots on the defensive side. He was clearly the best player on the court during yesterday's pool game.
