Area Swingman Elevates His Stock This Summer

Reporter Mike Sullivan has been impressed with the individual game of Kevin Parrom ...

Kevin Parrom, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound combo forward who competed last season at St. Raymond's High School in the Bronx, N.Y., has come off a string of impressive performances while competing for the New York Panthers.

Parrom was highly visible in the Panthers' quest to win a Rumble in the Bronx title. In the final, Parrom was all over the court and was the main reason why the Panthers stuck around against the New York Gauchos most of the game.

Kevin dropped in two three-pointers and recorded 20 points for the Panthers in their 76-63 loss at the Rumble.

Parrom's interest level has edged up too due to his play over the past month. St. John's, Seton Hall, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Clemson, Marquette, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Xavier of Ohio, Rutgers, and West Virginia have been mentioned.

Kevin said recently that he remains open in his recruiting process.

Next season, Kevin will polish his game at South Kent in Connecticut.
