"I look at where I'm ranked and I'm motivated," he said.
While Jennings feels the numbers don't justify what he'll eventually do on the college level, he keeps it in perspective. "I have to work hard and put up some great games," he said.
It's all up to Jennings really. The summer is a time to be productive. He's competed for the New York Gauchos in recent events and has been effective. He captured the MVP in the Rumble in the Bronx tournament too.
Jennings, a 2009 prospect, is going to land at a high division one program and will likely have a solid college career.
"I'm open," he said.
The 6-foot-9, 240-pounder scores around the rim with force and can swat shots away defensively when his game is on.
He expects to work on several aspects of his game over the next few months to prepare for his senior season at Oak Hill Academy.
