Bronx Guard Has Early Local College Offer

Reporter Mike Sullivan has the story on a player from All Hallows High School in the Bronx, N.Y....

Rashawn Stores, a 5-foot-9, 165-pound lead guard from All Hallows High School in the Bronx, N.Y., is a senior prospect who has an early offer, according to New York Panthers' program director Gary Charles.

"Manhattan has offered him," said Charles. "I think he's waiting to see where things stand after July."

Stores will play for the New York Panthers this summer. This includes a trip out to Las Vegas. "Rashawn does a lot of solid things on the court," Charles said. "He's consistent. He protects the ball. He is very stable with his play."

Charles thinks the Manhattan offer is an attractive one too for a player like Stores. "He's a solid defender," said Charles.

Charles added: "The thing I also like about him is when he has the open three he can knock it down. So he's a threat too. He gets his 10 points and six assists every game."
