RECRUITING UPDATE: Rumors surfaced over the past couple of weeks that Tamir was having thoughts about re-opening his recruiting process. He wanted to take more time to think about it and perhaps do something more concrete when he was done with is AAU summer season.

Indications appear to be he was leaning that way. As of today, nothing is concrete regarding a decision. But this could change in the constant flow of a busy AAU season.

Tamir is heading to Las Vegas with Jimmy Salmon's Playaz program too.

PREVIOUS EVALUATION OF TAMIR JACKSON'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

STRENGTHS: Tamir seems to make sure he has a solid handle on the pumpkin when directing the offense. He plays on a team filled with many offensive players who have the ability to take over the game. He has a good first step, forcing his defender to backpeddle from time to time, allowing him to knock down some jumpers.

AREAS TO IMPROVE: The outside game. If Jackson is more consistent in his perimeter game, it will allow him even more opportunities to blow by defenders.
