Gauchos Guard Has Many Skills

Reporter Mike Sullivan is watching the 16 and under Showcase at Disney World. He spoke to one of the top guard prospects Doron Lamb yesterday at the Milk House ...

While Doron Lamb has previously stated that Syracuse is his dream school, he realizes his recruiting process isn't close to being over. The reasons are many -- several high profile programs are recruiting him hard.

Lamb, a 2010 prospect from New York City, is an attractive recruit because of his perimeter range and his ability to direct an offense.

For the above individual aspects of his game, several offers are already on the table for the New York City Gauchos guard. "I don't know all of them but I'm open in my recruiting," said Lamb.

Doron stated: "Syracuse, UCONN, Louisville, Marquette, Georgetown, Memphis, St. John's, Seton Hall, Duke...those are just some that stand out in my mind right now. But I'm not closing anyone out now. It's early."

Lamb wasn't sure when he wanted to make a decision. "I didn't take any unofficial visits lately so I still need to do that before I do anything," he said.

Doron is a tough guard too. He's shown the willingness to challenge the bigger bodies near the rim and sacrifice his own points for easier shots for his teammates.

"I'm going to consider all the schools right now," he said.
