Upstate Rising Junior Guard Prospect Shines

Reporter Mike Sullivan updates the status of Davon Marshall and how his summer is going ...

Davon Marshall, a 5-foot-10 combo guard, is a rising junior in the 2010 class out of Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York.

Marshall, who had a solid sophomore season at Niagara Falls High School last season, recently helped his team win a Gold Medal at the New York Empire States game.

Marshall, a terrific shooter, displayed his perimeter skills throughout the event. Davon registered six three-pointers in one game and 12 for the tournament.

In the championship game, Marshall had eight points and five assists.

Several area schools are starting to follow the progress of Marshall including Albany and Buffalo. The zone busting guard has two more full seasons to polish up his game and convince division one coaches that he can be an impact player.
