Long Island Prospect Lands West Coast Offer

Long Island prospect Tobias Harris has another offer... Mike Sullivan has the story on the talented swingman ...

Tobias Harris, a 6-foot-7 swingman from Long Island, New York, has piled up offers from coast to coast. The offers started to pile up early this year as many college coaches saw the versatility in his offensive game.

His dad, Torrel, told us last night that Tobias received a Pac-10 offer. "Tim Floyd offered him," said Mr. Harris.

Mr. Harris added: "He stated to Tobias that he watch many of his AAU games this summer an that he loves the way he plays. Coach Floyd stated in the Pac 10, Tobias would be a match up problem nightmare. He offered Tobias a scholarship to USC and that he will be following his progress in high school."

On August 30th, Harris will attend a Louisville football game on his unofficial visit there.

EVALUATION: Tobias is a player who can score points in bunches and from almost any spot on the floor. As he strengthens his frame and tones his body, Harris will be a problem to defend on a consistent basis due to his skill level.

He can utilize both hands when scoring near the rim too.
