Unique's Coach Praises Marquette Recruit

Reporter Mike Sullivan spoke to Unique All Stars head coach Torrel Harris about the performance of a Marquette recruit ...

Torrel Harris was impressed. And why not? After all, Marquette recruit Jeronne Maymon helped the Unique All Stars win an important pool game this past weekend at IS8 in South Jamaica, N.Y.

Maymon, 6-foot-6, collected 45 points, 30 rebounds and handed out 14 assists. The Big East prospect was impressive to say the least, according to Torrel Harris.

"He was a great for us, along with Tobias' younger brother Tyler, they made good partners," said Mr. Harris.

Mr. Harris' elder son, Tobias, had to sit out due to a sprained ankle he suffered in his previous matchup against Lance Stephenson of the Juice.

With Maymon aboard and scoring points, the Unique All Stars won a pair of games in the Fall League to increase their record to 2-1.

Maybon is from Memorial High School in Madison, Wisconsin and had many scholarship offers on the table before he made a commitment to Marquette.
