Visit Goes Well For 2010 New Jersey Prospect

Reporter Mike Sullivan updates the status of Frantz Massenat, a 2010 prospect from the state of New Jersey who recently took an unofficial visit ...

Frantz Massenat, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound lead guard from +Trenton Catholic Academy in Hamilton, New Jersey, finished up an unofficial visit to Princeton University, according to his AAU coach Matt Pauls of New Jersey Athletic Basketball Club.

"He was able to tour the school," said Pauls, who helped guide the NJABC to several high profile victories this summer.

Pauls added: "He met the team and attended the Princeton versus Lehigh football game."

Pauls pointed out that another highlight of the visit was meeting the head coaches. "He met the coaches -- Coach Johnson, Greenman and Newsom."

There are several other schools trying to recruit Frantz, who had a solid summer competing for NJABC.

"Frantz is being recruited heavily by A-10, CAA, and MAAC schools, and will be visiting Fordham in the very near future where he is being recruited by Jared Grasso."

Massenat had a fine summer of AAU play while on the road with Pauls' 16 and under NJABC program. He was one of the more impressive players while playing at some Disney World events.

An exceptional student too, Frantz has given himself another window of opportunity with his impressive academic situation.

Pauls also mentioned Frantz has interest in St. Joe's, Temple, Rider, La Salle, and Massachusetts.

The 2010 prospect is also considering visits to UMASS, La Salle, St. Joe's, and Temple.

+ Trenton Catholic Academy was previously named McCorristin Catholic High School.
