2010 NJ Prospect Picks Up Another Offer

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a recruiting update on the status of New Jersey prospect Dondre Whitmore, who recently picked up a scholarship offer ...

Dondre Whitmore, a 5-foot-10, 155-pound guard out of Trenton Catholic Academy in Hamilton, New Jersey, has picked up another scholarship offer, according to his AAU coach, Matt Pauls of NJABC.

Whitmore did take an unofficial visit to Robert Morris University.

"He just picked up a solid offer from Mount St. Mary's," said Pauls.

Pauls added: "He is planning to unofficially visit there in the near future. Dondre holds approximately six offers from mid-major D1 programs."

Whitmore had previously taken an unofficial visit to Robert Morris. Pauls had stated Iona, Rider, and Fordham were also involved.

PREVIOUS EVALUATION OF DONDRE WHITMORE'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: Consistency is an attractive part of Whitmore's game and Pauls feels Dondre is on the right track to start landing some division one scholarship offers.

Whitmore is a terrific competitor too and Pauls appreciates his toughness. "He has a great deal of energy and it never stops."
