Two Sport Star Has High Level Interest

Dontae Johnson, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound forward from The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, continues to draw rave reviews regarding his ability to play two sports, according to NJABC AAU basketball head coach Matt Pauls.

"He is playing football this fall at The Pennington School," said Pauls. "He is playing wide receiver and safety."

So far this season Johnson has compiled four touchdowns, three interceptions and a load of walloping hits."

Clocked in the 40 in 4.55 seconds, the gifted athlete has a nice list of high division one football programs showing early interest in his skill level.

"Dontae is being recruited by everyone in the country, including Georgia, North Carolina, Duke, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Rutgers, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, Stanford," said Pauls.

He can also play basketball too. "Dontae is also an excellent bball player, and is key player on both the Team NJABC 2010 team, as well as at The Pennington School," Pauls said.

Pauls added: "If he wanted to, he could play division one basketball, but has decided to focus on football. He has about a 3.8 GPA taking very hard courses."
