Westly Perryman, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound shooting guard/combo guard and sophomore from Monroe College in the Bronx, N.Y., will continue his playing career in the WAC. The Boston native is committed to Boise St., according to Monroe coach Jeff Brustad.

"He's committed to Boise State," said Brustad. "He just took a visit there at the end of September."

Perryman averaged 15.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.5 steals as a freshman at Monroe. He played his prep ball at East Boston (Mass.) High School.

"He just plays so hard," said Brustad. "He can put the ball in the basket. He's a competitor; he wants to win everything. He'll take the big shots."
