Albany City Rocks Guard Has New List

Reporter Mike Sullivan has the story on Albany City Rocks guard prospect Kammeron Ritter, who is expected to have a solid season ...

Kameron Ritter, a 6-foot-3 backcourt player from Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, N.Y., is a player to watch how he progresses in his offensive game.

Before the summer, Albany City Rocks head coach and program director Jim Hart wanted Kammeron to be more aggressive and creative with the basketball.

"He did do that," said Hart. "He's always done a nice job taking care of the basketball and moving it smartly around the perimeter."

The 2010 prospect, a current junior, competed last July for Hart's 16 and under Albany City Rocks AAU program. Ritter is also a solid defender, utilizing his long arms to deflect passes and make on the ball steals against his opponent.

Hart said that several division one programs on the college level are already interested in watching his progress this season. "American, William and Mary, Lehigh, Holy Cross, Northeastern...those are some of them," said Hart.

Hart previously mentioned interest from Ball State, Delaware, and George Mason.
