Josh Malone, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard/small forward from Deer Park High School in Deer Park, N.Y., is a player to watch this season. Malone recently competed with Torrel Harris' Unique All Stars.

"Josh Malone is doing well," said Harris. "He's just working out hard everyday. He shoots hundreds of jumpshots a day, getting ready for high school basketball season."

In his recruiting process, Josh is still a player that needs to be discovered by some division one programs. "He's open regarding colleges," said Harris. "It hurt him not playing in July evaluation period. Schools were not able to see how good he is as a player and how he can be asset to program."

Harris previously praised Malone for his outstanding play during the IS8 Fall League.

TORREL HARRIS' VIEW OF JOSH MALONE'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: He's a multi-faceted player with many weapons to use at his disposal. He has an incredibly quick first step to the basket, possesses great ball handling skills, and can shoot from all spots on the floor.
