Harold Spears, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound versatile prospect from the Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, took an unofficial visit to Cornell University this past weekend, according to his AAU coach Matt Pauls of NJABC.

"Harold loved the campus and thought it was beautiful," said Pauls. "He was very impressed with the student support when he attended the game against South Dakota."

Spears is seriously considering Cornell. However, Harold has several schools from both the Ivy League and Patroit League interested in his skill level.

"Many high major division one football programs are recruiting him as a tight end/defensive end," said Pauls. "With his athletic ability, combined with a 3.9 GPA, he is going to have multiple college options."

Spears has nice speed, clocking a 4.6 speed in the forty.

Rutgers, Maryland, Connecticut, Boston College and Pittsburgh are recruiting Spears for football.

Previously, Spears had coaches from the programs of Cornell, Drexel, and Princeton come and watch him workout at the Pennington School.

Harold also previously expressed interest in Brown, Bucknell, Lehigh, Lafayette, and Holy Cross.
