Dontae Johnson, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound wide receiver/safety from The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, landed another Atlantic Coast Conference football scholarship offer this week, according to his AAU basketball coach, Matt Pauls of NJABC.

Pauls told us on November 14th that Maryland was the first school to offer him from the ACC. "North Carolina State offered now," said Pauls.

Johnson, who also plays basketball for The Pennington School, was clocked in the 40 in 4.55 seconds, according to Pauls.

There are many other football programs watching his individual progress this season. They include: Rutgers, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Duke, North Carolina, and Michigan State.

PREVIOUS QUOTE FROM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS: "If he wanted to, he could play division one basketball, but has decided to focus on football. He has about a 3.8 GPA taking very hard courses."
