Two Sport NJ Star Landing Early Interest

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a free look at the individual athletic career of 2011 New Jersey based soccer and basketball prospect, Chandler Fraser-Pauls ...

Chandler Fraser-Pauls, a 6-foot, 160-pound lead guard from the Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, comes off a rather success soccer season and is preparing himself for an equally positive basketball campaign.

The sophomore is a two-sport star who scored 17 goals and 12 assist, helping his team win the New Jersey Prep B State Soccer Championship.

Chandler has handled himself with skill in the classroom as well, opening up several academic doors of opportunity.

Currently, American, Lafayette, Lehigh, Brown, Bucknell, Princeton and Cornell have expressed early interest in recruiting him for basketball.

Fraser-Pauls could play two sports in college if he wishes. It's still early to determine what level of interest he would receive soccer wise. But playing soccer and basketball at the same college or university is still under consideration.

*He is also a lefty backcourt player who is rated high by many scouting organizations both locally and nationally. Chandler had a special summer and was rewarded for his efforts by landing a spot in the all star teams at both Eastern Invitational and Adidas Phenom 150.
