HIGH SCHOOL: Brentwood High School in Brentwood, New York (Long Island)

HIGH SCHOOL HEAD COACH: Anthony Jimenez

POSITIONS: Power Forward/Small Forward

CLASS: 2010, a current junior

AAU TEAMS: Long Island Defenders and Long Island Fury

COLLEGE INTERESTS: Moore is likely to see his list expand as his junior season continues. He has had an impressive start, showing many college coaches he has the possibility of playing a decent level of competition on the next level.

The early schools involved in his recruiting process are Monmouth, Stony Brook, Hofstra, St. Peter's, St. John's, Penn State, and St. Francis of New York

STRENGTHS IN JONATHAN MOORE'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: Getting on the class, explosive to the basket, effective slasher to the rim

AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT: Adding some more muscle to his frame and being able to knock down the medium range jumper

FRANK MANTESTA'S PREVIOUS EVALUATION: Jonathan has the ability to take over games on Long Island. He's very good in transition and is developing a much more consistent shot.

Moore's perimeter skills are going to determine the level he lands scholarship offers. Reporter Frank Mantesta: "He can hit three or four threes in a row but can also get into slumps. In a recent showcase on Long Island, Moore twice went the length of the court finishing it off with dunks with players on his back.
