Junior Upstate Guard Prospect Has D-1 Looks

Reporter Mike Sullivan profiles the individual game of upstate guard prospect Kameron Ritter, who demonstrated during his AAU tournaments he was worthy of division one interest ...

Kameron Ritter, a 6-foot-3 backcourt player from Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, N.Y., is a steady influence on any offense he runs, according to his AAU head coach Jim Hart.

Hart, who said he plans on coaching Ritter and the rising senior prospects this spring and summer with the Albany City Rocks AAU basketball program, believes Ritter has the ability to help a division one program.

Kameron competed with Hart's 16 and under Albany City Rocks AAU program last spring and summer. He was solid in the many games we watched Ritter play in at the Wide World of Sports complex during the July evaluation period.

Kam's dad has kept us updated on his recruiting process. The list includes: Penn, Harvard, Fairfield, Buffalo, Boston University, Cornell, Princeton, George Mason, James Madison, William and Mary, Delaware, Northeastern, Clemson, Ball State, Wright State, Army, Siena, Holy Cross, American, Elon, Lafayette, LSU, Stanford, Delaware St., and TCU.

PREVIOUS EVALUATION: Ritter is also a solid defender, utilizing his long arms to deflect passes and make on the ball steals against his opponent.
