Upstate Guard Sizzles In Big Matchup

Reporter Mike Sullivan has the story on Kelvin Agee's big game against the Taran Buie led Bishop Maginn High School in a battle of two quality upstate basketball teams ...

Kelvin Agee, a 6-foot-2 backcourt player from Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York, continues to have a sparkling year.

Competing against a team that recently knocked off Long Island Lutheran, Agee registered 28 points to lead Niagara Falls High School past Bishop Maginn, 78-58.

Maginn, a team that won five games without a loss, features the talent of guard Taran Buie, who is being highly recruited by several division one college basketball programs.

Agee also hauled down 12 rebounds and had five steals in a complete and very impressive effort.

Agee, a current senior who also had a solid summer, has some decent division one interest in his skill level. The schools previously mentioned were Youngstown State, Niagara, Canisius, Buffalo, Central Connecticut State, and Northeastern.

Albany is also involved, according to sources close to Agee.

EVALUATION:

Kelvin Agee has the ability to score from anywhere on the court as evidenced by the points he produces on a nightly basis.

He'll damage a zone defense. He's still open in his recruiting process.
