2010 Guard Prospect Looking To Set Up Trip

Taran Buie, a 6-foot-2 backcourt player from Bishop Maginn High School in N.Y., is expected to have an ACC school come in this upcoming weekend to watch him play.

According to sources, ACC school Georgia Tech is likely to make a trip to Bishop Maginn and watch Taran work out. Head coach Paul Hewitt is expected to represent Georgia Tech.

Buie has told us he wants to take an unofficial visit to Atlanta and tour the Georgia Tech campus. As of today, no definite date has been set up. But the visit is likely to happen during the basketball season as Buie would like to watch a game on campus.

Buie's last unofficial visit was to South Bend, Indiana and to the Notre Dame campus. Taran praised the visit and enjoyed the opportunity to talk to the coaches and players in the program.

Buie has indicated he would like to take a few more trips before making a decision.

Taran has mentioned interest in Maryland, Penn State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Texas. However, the Longhorns recently landed a guard.
