2010 Prospect Likely To Watch Big East Game

Reporter Mike Sullivan has an update on the recruiting status of 2010 prospect Tobias Harris, a swingman from Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, New York ...

Tobias Harris, a talented 6-foot-7 swingman from Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, New York, is expected to take a trip to the Rutgers campus this evening. The Scarlet Knights are playing Syracuse University in a Big East Conference battle.

Both Syracuse and Rutgers are recruiting Harris hard. Tobias, highly rated by most national recruiting scouts, is also recovering from a torn ligaments in his ankle.

It's been about four to five weeks since he started to mend. It's likely Harris will return before the high school season ends in March.

In addition, Harris took in the Connecticut-Georgetown game in Hartford a couple of weeks back. He is also interested in those two Big East programs.

Considered one of the more balanced offensive stars in the junior class, Harris has the ability to drop in long range shots as well as score near the rim with either hand.
