CTK Guard Has Several Division One Offers

Reporters Mike Sullivan and Brian Towey provide a free look at the individual game of Sean Johnson of Christ The King High School in Middle Village, New York ... Johnson is a senior who plays bigger than his size ...

Sean Johnson is a tough competitor. Standing at 6-foot-2, 175-pounds, the swingman from Christ The King High School in Middle Village, Queens, always finds himself around the basketball.

Johnson has the knack for scoring big points, grabbing a key rebound, or making a clutch steal.

He also remains among the best players in the New York City area that has yet to make a college decision.

Johnson is simply a winner, always doing many different tasks on the floor to help the Royals win basketball games.

Below is Brian Towey's recent evaluation on Sean Johnson's individual game:

The athletic finisher thrives in the transition game, with excellent foot speed in the open floor. Johnson is a slasher with good lateral quickness and body control, a quick first step, and the ability to explode to the cup.

Johnson plans on waiting until after the season to put serious thought into his recruitment.

Sean Johnson claims offers from Robert Morris, Fordham, Quinnipiac, North Carolina A&T, and Manhattan. George Mason has shown interest. He took an official visit to Quinnipiac in the fall.
