New York Big Man Polishing His Craft Up North

Jordan Henriquez, the 6-foot-10 center from The Winchendon School in Massachusetts, continues to progress physically and in his individual game this season.

According to Jordan's mom, Lisa, her son has put on some weight. "I guess that's a good thing," said Lisa.

It is.

Jordan also had a recent double/double against Patterson. "He had 12 points and 11 rebounds," said the proud mom.

They call Jordan "Big Time" now. He recently had a wisdom tooth removed but he's back in action.

Henriquez, who played last season at Port Chester High School in Port Chester, New York, has already given a commitment to Kansas State.

Lisa said her son is very happy at The Winchendon School and has enjoyed his stay there.

PREVIOUS EVALUATION PROVIDED BY FRANK MANTESTA, BRIAN TOWEY, AND MIKE SULLIVAN : A consistent shot blocker, A year on the prep level is already helping him prepare for life at Kansas State.

He has the wing span to change player's drives to the basket too. Increasing his endurance will be another aspect worked on this season.
