New Jersey Big Man Prospect's List Expands

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a recruiting update on the status of New Jersey prospect Wayne Newsom, who has seen his list of schools expand as the season progresses for his junior year ...

Wayne Newsom, a 6-foot-7, 205-pound forward from Piscataway High School in Piscataway, New Jersey, continues to see solid division one interest in his recruiting process. The junior big man has been praised extensively by his AAU coach Matt Pauls of NJABC.

His list now includes Fairfield, Stony Brook, Iona, Robert Morris, Quinnipiac, and Drexel.

Below is a previous evaluation report:

NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS' VIEW OF WAYNE NEWSOM'S INDIVIDUAL BASKETBALL GAME: He dunks the ball, beats guys off the dribble, rebounds like a monster - he just needs to improve his mid-range jumper, and his strength.

Wayne's work ethic is unbelievable. He sometimes works out 3 times per day, and often calls me and asks what he can do better...he's terrific to coach.
