Wayne Newsom, a 6-foot-7, 205-pound forward from Piscataway High School in Piscataway, New Jersey, has had a solid season thus far. And it has also resulted in some quality division one interest early on in his recruiting process.

The junior big man has some offers on the table. Schools like Fairfield, Rider, Mount Saint Mary's, Stony Brook, Iona, Robert Morris, Quinnipiac, and Drexel are involved in Newsom's recruiting process.

Below is a previous evaluation report:

NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS' VIEW OF WAYNE NEWSOM'S INDIVIDUAL BASKETBALL GAME: He dunks the ball, beats guys off the dribble, rebounds like a monster - he just needs to improve his mid-range jumper, and his strength.

Wayne's work ethic is unbelievable. He sometimes works out 3 times per day, and often calls me and asks what he can do better...he's terrific to coach.
