Wayne Newsom, a 6-foot-7, 205-pound forward from Piscataway High School in Piscataway, New Jersey, continues to show why he's worthy of division one interest as a 2010 prospect.

Wayne, who also plays for Matt Pauls' NJABC AAU program during spring and summer events, has displayed toughness and skills that have a number of division one programs offering him early in his recruiting process.

Among the offers that Newsom possesses: Fairfield, Rider, Mount Saint Mary's, Stony Brook, Iona, Robert Morris, Quinnipiac, and Drexel.

Below is a previous evaluation report:

NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS' VIEW OF WAYNE NEWSOM'S INDIVIDUAL BASKETBALL GAME: He dunks the ball, beats guys off the dribble, rebounds like a monster - he just needs to improve his mid-range jumper, and his strength.

Wayne's work ethic is unbelievable. He sometimes works out three times per day, and often calls me and asks what he can do better...he's terrific to coach.
