HIGH SCHOOL: Albany Academy in Albany, New York

POSITIONS: Point Guard/Shooting Guard

CLASS: 2010, A current junior

AAU TEAM: Albany City Rocks

AAU TEAM'S PROGRAM DIRECTOR: Jim Hart

COLLEGE INTERESTS: Fields recently gave a verbal commitment to the up and coming basketball program of Fairfield in the state of Connecticut.

Fields is a huge get this early in the recruiting process for the Fairfield staff.

Jamel recently produced 27 points to help his team defeat a very talented Bishop Loughlin High School squad from Brooklyn, New York. Fields has showed he has the ability to make an impact on the division one level for Fairfield.

Jamel has always had the heart and strength to take his dribble to the front of the rim against the big frames. Not afraid to get knocked down, he make the spinning drive to draw the hard foul too.
