Solid Prospect From NY Worth Watching

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a free story detailing the process of Josh Malone's individual game while competing in the New York area ... Malone has been praised by Unique All Stars head coach Torrel Harris on several occasions ...

Unique All Stars head coach Torrel Harris knows the game of basketball quite well. He's a hard worker and has installed these aspects into the games of his children too. So it's not a surprise when he has mentioned Josh Malone, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard/small forward from Deer Park High School in Deer Park, N.Y., with a sense of pride.

Malone thrived playing with the Unique All Stars during the summer AAU sessions as well as at IS8.

In fact, Malone initially impressed us with his play playing for the Unique All Stars in the IS8 Fall League.

Below is a look at a previous scouting report, produced by Mike Sullivan, Frank Mantesta, and Brian Towey.

TORREL HARRIS' VIEW OF JOSH MALONE'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: He's a multi-faceted player with many weapons to use at his disposal. He has an incredibly quick first step to the basket, possesses great ball handling skills, and can shoot from all spots on the floor.

SCHOOL INTEREST: Fairfield, St. Peter's, Stony Brook, Monmouth, St. Francis, Columbia, and Siena.
